Kingsley: Cool Clothes for Kids

Inspiration, creativity, freedom, style, technique, comfort, fashion-forward design, innovation, fun, and loud music are some of the things that make up the Kingsley brand.

This is an interview with Kingsley where Dabbler.ca asks him about his inspritation to create these cool designs. Kingsley says his son Zephir is his inspriration, because he had a difficult time shopping for him in the past trying to find something cool. Now he offers a wide array of graphic t-shirts, including items like the "Einstein", because every single kid is brilliant and smart. Also a couple of his favorite rock stars' guitars are present in the designs.

Kingsley clothing breaks all kid and baby wear conventions and instead let kids kick it to their own tune. Celebrities love this visionary look and everyone from Angelina Jolie to Courtney Cox has dressed their little ones in the edgy tees, jackets, pants and hoodies that the Kingsley clothing line presents.

Kids Designer Swimwear for Pool Princesses

Most kids can’t wait for summer to come. It is the very best time of year, when they can play on the beach or by the pool and splash around with their friends. These magical days seem to last forever, and as boys and girls run into the waves together nothing is more important than feeling and looking fabulous. Kids designer swimwear that moves and stretches with their every hop, step, and jump, in styles that showcase their playful personality, can turn the hottest days of summer into ultra-cool memories that they will cherish for a lifetime. But with so much to choose from, how do you find the right gear for your very own little ray of sunshine?

When it comes to girls, your little princess may love to jump right in the water or just hang out with only their feet in. By finding her a sunny outfit that makes her look and feel fabulous either way, you help her build confidence that will last a lifetime. There are plenty of generic styles out there, but kids today like being noticed and if you want to stand out boring or standardized silhouettes and patterns simply doesn’t cut it. Now, finding a really cute suit for the beach or poolside does not have to be a challenge. Brands like Moppit and Submarine do everything from toddler bikinis to slightly older kids designer swimwear, in seriously cool couture cuts and colors.

Even if she is a bubbly mermaid who spends all day in the water, she still wants to look every bit as fashionable as all the dry adults around her. Just as you dress up in the latest trends, she will want to as well. For example, if you have added some of the spring 2009 safari trends into your beach wardrobe, consider treating her to a cool Submarine Swimwear Summer Jungle Green Swimsuit. Unlike many other toddler girl bathing suits, this one radiates genuine catwalk quality design. If you also give her a matching Submarine Swimwear Jungle Green Poli-Silk Swim Coverup Dress to match, chances are you will have made her summer. The confidence she gains from all the attention wearing these super sweet items will stay with her for years to come.

Another fantastic fashion statement this summer is the Moppit Eenie Weenie Bikini; in sunny yellow and fun prints it is one of the cutest toddler bikinis around. Known for its quality and comfy fabrics that are carefully decorated by hand, Moppit makes every pool princess feel even more unique. Hand-made instead of mass produced, toddler designer swimwear such as this cute two-piece will definitely make her easy to spot as she suns and splashes all day long.

If a softer, floral look is more her thing, then check out the superbly stylish
Submarine Swimwear Garden White One Piece Swimsuit; perfectly on-trend with every flowery outfit we are seeing from major fashion houses this spring, this is one of those toddler designer swimwear pieces you cannot afford to miss. Or, to capture her love for those cool catwalk metallic hues, give her the chance to dress up in a shiny Submarine Swimwear Pearl Rings Metallic Gold Two Piece Swimsuit – it is a superstar among toddler bikinis.

Perhaps you feel that buying your little girl something fashionable to wear in and out of the water is more for your own sake, or that she will be happy in any style no matter how generic. While it is probably true that summer in itself will be enough to put a smile on her face, nothing beats fashionable and happy colors, prints and detailing when it comes to building her confidence and creating unique memories.

So don’t miss the boat on this summer’s coolest kids designer swimwear. Browse R&S Avenue for a selection of dazzling swimsuits, bikinis and sunny accessories, all of which are sure to make 2009 an unforgettable year.

Summer Swimwear for Boys Sizzles in ‘09

Remember your first summer vacation as a kid?  Some of the most lasting memories usually have to do not only with what you did, but also how you looked.  That first pair of swimming trunks really meant a lot when it came to fitting in or standing out, whether you were by the pool, or running across the beach to get to the waves.  But those were simpler times – these days, there’s more trendy baby clothing out there than you can shake a stick at.  So how do you decide on what kind of kid’s designer swimwear to get for summer 2009? You’ve come to the right place to find out.

Boys, you might think, are simple.  Once they’re old enough, slap a pair of shorts on them and let them go play.  But parents today are savvier than ours were back then, and pay attention – not just to assess what other people’s kids are wearing, but to make sure they can get their deserving kids the same kind of clothing. Well-designed clothing goes a long way, but have you heard of the popular clothing lines that have graced everything from fashion magazines to Hollywood tabloids?  Everything from Ed Hardy to Kingsley is well known vocabulary for many parents and their kids.

When it comes to children’s swimsuits, generic doesn’t cut it anymore.  Kids want to look as cool as adults in the water, and expect even their swimming trunks to make them look like a mini Matthew McConaughey.  So when looking at something like Childish Clothing Blue and White Chainlink Swim Trunks, you may at first wonder what happened to the single color, boring swimming trunks you grew up with.  But you will soon remember how much your first swimwear meant to you back then, so of course you will catch up with the times and get your little boy something that will boost their confidence and make them look cool.

Another great pair of swimming trunks is the Moppit Charcoal Wings Board Shorts, designed and made in Australia.  Perfect for the aspiring surfer, this colorful and funky tween swimwear for boys is made of distressed denim, and painted by hand – part of the latest trend of cool kid’s clothing that has a handmade, off the beaten path feel and is the perfect antidote for mass produced generic wear.  And when you pair these with some Squids White Sunglasses, don’t be surprised to see your boy adding an extra strut while walking across the surf with his boogie board.

It’s true that infant swimwear is undeniably more for the parents than the baby, who is probably too young to notice.  But even if they’re just napping on the beach blanket all day, there’s no reason why they can’t do it in style either.  It’s purely fun to dress up your toddler in boy swimsuits, just to impress the other parents and let him be the center of attention for a while.  If you haven’t realized it already, dressing up your infant in designer clothing can become addictive – and it is perfect to indulge in during the warm summer months.

So don’t get caught after the tide has gone out – it’s now time to start preparing for the summer with the infant boy swimwear that is burning up the surf.   Check out the available swimming trunks and accessories available on R&S Avenue and start putting together your boy’s look for 2009.
